Arcesium, a global FinTech provider serving the investment industry, has launched Arcesium Intelligence, an AI platform built specifically for institutional investment firms.
The platform is embedded within Arcesium’s existing front-to-back operations platform, Opterra®, and its Aquata® enterprise data management platform. It is available to clients as an extension of their current platform relationship, and is designed to enable firms to deploy agentic AI across investment operations and data management workflows.
Arcesium Intelligence launches with a catalogue of over 100 pre-configured agents alongside domain-specific skills that draw on Arcesium’s operational context. These are delivered through an orchestration layer that embeds compliance, auditability and governance into every agentic workflow.
The platform covers operational, analytical and data management workflows across the full investment lifecycle and is intended to provide a direct route to production-grade AI deployment. Core capabilities include a catalogue of pre-configured agents built for high-impact workflows across Opterra and Aquata, Agent Studio, which is a self-service development environment allowing users to build their own agents and applications, and a domain-aware orchestration layer that manages the agent lifecycle in line with each firm’s specific requirements. That orchestration layer is built on Arcesium’s investment industry ontology and is model-agnostic by design, offering full control over model selection, human oversight, auditability and governance.
Practical applications of Arcesium Intelligence span a broad range of use cases, from treasury dashboards that consolidate critical insights into a single daily-use interface, to bespoke data pipelines, dashboards, data quality monitoring and custom analytics workflows. Pre-built agents address core operational functions including P&L explanation and decomposition, on-demand report generation, end-of-day execution cost and financing analytics, NAV review and portfolio monitoring. All workflows operate within firm-defined governance parameters with full auditability at every step.
The launch also builds on Arcesium’s December rollout of AI features, which included an MCP server enabling investment firms to connect enterprise AI tools to their governed data foundation in the Aquata platform, as well as unstructured data processing capabilities aimed at automating manual data extraction.
Arcesium is a global financial technology company providing front-to-back technology solutions for hedge funds, asset managers, private markets, sell-side and digital assets firms. Its cloud-native technology is designed to systematise complex workflows and help clients achieve scale.
Arcesium CEO Gaurav Suri said, “The investment industry is at an inflection point with AI, and Arcesium Intelligence is our answer to what comes next. We are proud to introduce a capability that accelerates our clients’ capacity to operationalize AI at scale.
“We’ve built this not as a set of features, but as a platform that gives firms the control, context, and flexibility to make AI a core part of how they operate across the investment lifecycle. Critically, the investment professionals who know these workflows best are empowered to build and deploy the agents that run them.”
Arcesium president, product and technology Bryan Dougherty said, “The industry has moved past AI experimentation. The challenge now is operationalizing it at enterprise scale, with the governance, domain context, and infrastructure that institutional investment demands. Arcesium Intelligence is purpose-built for that gap, giving firms the foundation to drive transformative outcomes on top of a trusted system of record.”
