Patra, an InsurTech firm operating one of the insurance industry’s largest production-grade agentic AI platforms, has announced a series of senior leadership appointments aimed at accelerating its next phase of growth.
The hires span technology, operations, marketing, client experience and human resources, and are intended to support the company’s shift toward becoming an outcome-focused operating partner that combines agentic AI with experienced human oversight.
Gene Linetsky has been appointed as chief digital officer, taking responsibility for how Patra deploys intelligent automation across production environments to strengthen enterprise value. Akhil Verma joins as SVP of business operations for Asia Pacific, overseeing the company’s regional delivery hub and driving operational capacity across its AI-powered insurance solutions.
John Markos has been brought on as SVP of client experience and growth, with a background in client success, relationship management and experience design across insurance and technology services.
He will focus on ensuring Patra’s transformation delivers tangible value for agencies, brokers, MGAs and carriers as the company moves toward outcome-based delivery models. Joanna Rogers takes the role of SVP of marketing, leading brand development, go-to-market strategy and demand generation. Shonna Andersen rounds out the appointments as SVP of human resources, tasked with reshaping the company’s human capital strategy for an AI-led environment, covering talent acquisition, workforce design and cultural development across insurance and technology disciplines.
Patra provides insurance operations services that pair a production-grade agentic AI platform with human expertise, serving agencies, brokers, MGAs and carriers. The company draws on roughly two decades of insurance industry experience to deliver technology-enabled outcomes at scale.
The appointments follow Patra’s broader evolution from a technology services provider into what the company describes as an outcome-focused operating partner, with the new leadership infrastructure designed to match both its operational and technological ambitions.
Patra CEO Pratap Sarker said, “Patra’s existing leadership team brings decades of deep insurance industry expertise, and we’ve made significant investments to build AI that works in production, not as a concept, but as a core part of how we deliver for our clients today. That’s the foundation everything else is built on. These appointments bring expanded capabilities in transformation, AI, marketing, and client experience that are essential to shape the future of this company, and this industry. Together, this combination will allow us to deliver measurable outcomes for the agencies, brokers, and carriers who trust us with their operations.”
