Inszone Insurance Services, a national insurance brokerage offering commercial, personal and employee benefits solutions, has announced the acquisition of Aviza Insurance Agency, a long-established agency based in Coldwater, Michigan.
Aviza Insurance Agency, Inc. has operated in Coldwater and the wider Tri-State area since 1966, building a reputation for farm, commercial, home, auto and health insurance that reflects the needs of its local community.
The agency was taken over in 2016 by current owner Jake Eby, who brought more than three decades of industry experience to the role after acquiring the business from founder Dave Aviza. Much of the agency’s client base centres on farm and commercial risk, an area Eby has focused on throughout his career.
As ownership demands grew and the market evolved, Eby began searching for a partner that could offer a defined succession plan, safeguard his clients over the long run, and allow him to step back into an advisory role focused on client service rather than management.
