Pidgin, an instant payments platform, has partnered with Millennium Corporate Credit Union to give nearly 300 Midwest credit unions access to FedNow, RTP and stablecoin payment rails through a single platform.
The partnership enables Millennium’s member credit unions to adopt instant payments through one connection point, rather than managing separate integrations for each network. Pidgin connects a credit union’s core processing system, digital banking tools and other third-party applications to multiple payment rails, while keeping funds within the institution rather than routing them through an external fintech-controlled holding account.
The deal expands Pidgin’s reach across the US credit union sector. Its instant payments technology is now available to more than 1,000 community financial institutions through its client network, which includes corporate credit unions and bankers’ banks. More than 100 institutions use Pidgin’s platform directly.
Pidgin says its combined footprint represents the largest share of the US financial institution market and makes it the leading instant payments provider in the country.
The partnership comes as adoption of real-time payment infrastructure continues to grow. Nearly 1,700 financial institutions participate in the Federal Reserve’s FedNow Service, while more than 1,100 are connected to The Clearing House’s RTP network.
Stablecoins are also expanding alongside traditional payment rails, with more than $9tn in transaction value processed during 2025. The global real-time payments market is projected to reach $284.49bn by 2032, with FedNow adoption and demand for faster settlement among the factors expected to drive growth.
Pidgin provides payments infrastructure for financial institutions, businesses and consumers, enabling transactions across multiple rails while keeping funds within the financial institution rather than a third-party account.
Millennium Corporate Credit Union, founded in 1951 and headquartered in Wichita, Kansas, serves nearly 300 member credit unions and manages more than $2bn in assets. It provides liquidity, investment, payments and correspondent services to support the financial position of its members.
Millennium Corporate Credit Union CEO Haley DaVee said, “Instant payments are quickly becoming essential to how members expect to move their money. Partnering with Pidgin gives the hundreds of credit unions we serve a clear path to fast, secure, instant payments, without the complexity or cost that often gets in the way. That is exactly how we strengthen credit unions and the members they serve.”
Pidgin SVP of Sales and co-founder Tim Rozanski said, “Millennium Corporate Credit Union has spent decades earning the trust of credit unions, and that trust opens the door for hundreds of institutions to embrace real-time payments with confidence. The demand for instant payments is accelerating, and credit unions want a partner that makes it simple to deliver. Our partnership with Millennium puts that capability within reach for even more credit unions, and we look forward to helping them transform their payment operations.”
The partnership gives Millennium’s member credit unions a route to multiple instant payment rails through a single integration, as financial institutions face growing demand for faster payment capabilities.
