Socure brings AI identity checks to Circle’s Arc blockchain

Socure

Socure, a provider of AI-native trust infrastructure for identity and risk intelligence worldwide, has deployed its RiskOS platform to handle identity verification and fraud prevention on Arc, the open Layer 1 blockchain developed by Circle, as the network enters public mainnet.

The integration places Socure’s identity checks and risk decisioning directly inside Arc Onramp, the feature that lets users convert fiat currency into USDC within any application running on the network. This means verification now sits at the point where traditional money first enters the blockchain.

Arc launched on mainnet backed by over 100 institutional and ecosystem builders, alongside an initial group of validators drawn from major financial institutions. Circle designed the network specifically for financial markets, instant money movement and economic activity carried out by AI agents.

Socure operates RiskOS® as a configurable decisioning layer that consolidates identity signals in one place.

Developers and institutions can use it to calibrate how much assurance they require for each individual user and each type of risk they face. Socure views identity verification as a core defence against identity fraud, and says genuine users should face fewer obstacles during onboarding while organisations gain tighter control over the choices that underpin compliant participation.

The company is positioning the Arc deployment as part of its wider role in a crypto sector that continues to mature. By linking verification and risk decisioning within a single operating layer, Socure aims to help organisations pursue sustainable, compliant expansion in digital assets and across the wider digital economy.

Socure co-founder and CEO Johnny Ayers said, “Settlement went from days to under a second with the crypto ecosystem. The decision about whether to trust the counterparty didn’t. That gap is where fraud lives, and it’s the gap we close on Arc.”
