1. Conference Producer

FinTech Global is looking to hire a Conference Producer to manage our successful portfolio of FinTech events.

We’re looking for an ambitious individual who want to join an entrepreneurial, fast-growing company. The career opportunities and upside rewards are unlimited for the right individual.

Full-Time. Salary: £25K to £35K (depending on experience) + BONUS

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the editorial team to create conference agendas that address the key issues impacting the FinTech, RegTech, WealthTech, InsurTech and CyberTech sectors.
  • Identify and contact potential speakers and build strong business relationships.
  • Liaise with speakers to prep them for their conference sessions.
  • Work with senior managers to ensure event logistics meet the needs of sponsors, speakers and delegates.
  • Organise webinars, briefings and networking events in collaboration with other team members.
  • Assist with operations and manage speakers on event days.
  • Liaise with the marketing team to ensure the correct messaging and marketing campaigns are executed.
  • Liaise with the sponsorship team to design appropriate slots on the agenda.
  • Contribute to all areas of the business with ideas and suggestions for new products, growth opportunities and fun activities.
  • Report to the Head of Research and the Head of Business Development.
  • Help grow our events business and become a director of the company in record time.

Skills & Experience

  • Ideally, more than two years of experience as a conference producer. However, we will look at other relevant experience and consider applications from talented new graduates.
  • Experience or interest in financial services and technology.
  • Outstanding skills in communications, project management and relationship management.
  • Strong writing and inter-personal skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to prioritise, work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic, with a professional and can-do attitude.
  • Excellent team skills.

The Rewards

The work will be primarily based from home until Covid restrictions are lifted, at which point a combination of home and office-based time will be the norm according to business requirements and personal preferences. We are open to being very flexible.

2. Business Development Executive

FinTech Global is looking to hire a Business Development Executive to manage our growing portfolio of digital marketing products, FinTech events and research.

The Role – Business Development Executive

  • Initial training around the FinTech and private equity industry will be provided, followed by client engagement – advice on how to interact with Managing Directors and Partners of multi-national corporations.
  • Your main focus will be finding your own leads, researching and mapping the companies, calling the correct contacts and selling our core products.
  • Once you start developing within the role you will have to build and manage an active pipeline to ensure that revenue targets are achieved and exceeded.
  • As soon as you are capable you will be able to attend face-to-face client meetings and present to prestigious clients in a structured, knowledgeable way.
  • Once willing and able we want to have new hires in a management position as soon as possible.

Package

  • £25k basic
  • £20K OTE commission in the first year and always uncapped
