Jakob Beck Thomsen

As SVP, Commercial Excellence, Jakob initiates and runs group-wide projects that seek to ensures the banks commercial fitness and capability. Prior to his current position he led the development of ”June” the first Robo-advisor launched by a large regional bank in Europe, and was also responsible for the overall customer experience incl. marketing, events and digital sales in the Danske Banks Wealth Management unit.

 Before his time with Danske Bank, Jakob spend 14 years with fintech Saxo Bank incl. three years in London and seven years in Dubai as a CEO of the banks local subsidiary and Regional Head of the MENASA region. Jakob studied International Business at Copenhagen Business School.
