Richard Sachar

Richard is a director of FinTech Global & AltAssets. He has over 25 years’ experience in private equity, VC and consulting. He leads the FinTech Global team which provides data, research and analytics to investors, financial institutions and FinTech companies around the world. Richard was previously chief executive at Almeida Capital, where he was engaged as a senior adviser to a wide range of leading private equity groups, venture capital firms and blue-chip investment institutions. He personally led fundraising engagements that raised over $8 billion for Almeida’s clients. Prior to Almeida, Richard was a fund of funds manager at GreenOak, a director at BZW and a consultant McKinsey & Company. He holds degrees from the universities of Cambridge, Lausanne, Birmingham and Bristol.
