Biography
Christine is passionate about many things: in business it’s about creating value for clients, organizations, and everyone involved along the value chain.
After completing a degree in Economics from HEC Business School in Lausanne (Switzerland) in 1996, she started a consulting career in Paris (France). Business process re-engineering was the main theme at that time but after a few projects focused on cost and FTE reduction, Christine decided to pivot her focus on sustainable growth and customer delight, with
technology as the key enabler.
At Valoris, she joined the nascent eBusiness Strategy practice and advised senior executives of major corporations in Financial, Retail and Consumer Goods industries. She worked with clients such as Danone, CPR-eTrade, Crédit Lyonnais and HSBC to launch new innovative products and web-based solutions that profoundly changed the way they interacted with their customers and suppliers.
Moving to the south of France in early 2000, Christine started her own advisory practice, working with smaller businesses to oversee business transformation projects from strategy to implementation.
Christine joined HSBC upon her return to her native Canada, assuming various product and channel management responsibilities including leading commercial banking marketing for Canada and institutional marketing for the Asset Management business in North America. She launched HSBC Group’s first robo-advisor platform in 2018, HSBC Wealth Compass, which won the Digital Banker’s CX global award for best robo-advisor experience in 2021.
Christine is a Chartered Investment Manager charterholder and a Certified Scrum Product Owner.
Outside work, you can find her scaling the local mountains around Vancouver or half way across the globe, advocating for mental health and climate change, training towards her black belt in karate, and raising her son and their two guinea pigs.
