Global Open Finance Centre of Excellence (GOFCoE) has received £22.5m in new capital to strengthen the FinTech ecosystem by providing a place to research and develop innovative solutions in the open banking and financial data space.

FinTech Scotland, the organisation supporting FinTech firms in Scotland, has revealed that the number of active FinTech companies in the country has jumped from 72 to 119 in the past 12 months.

FinTech Scotland has formed a strategic partnership with Prudential UK, a savings and investments company.
