Nigeria-based Lidya, which offers small business loans, has reportedly raised $8.3m in its pre-Series B funding round.

After expanding to New York, Nigerian SME lender Lidya has now opened offices in Warsaw and in Prague.

Nigerian small business lender Lidya has picked up $1.25m in a seed funding round led by Accion Venture Lab. Newid Capital and several angel investors also participated.
