Second Measure, a data analysis company for investors, has raised $2m in a round of seed funding.
Its investors include Bessemer Venture Partners, Foundation Capital and FundersClub, with many also partnering with the firm to utilise its data and get a competitive edge on rival firms.
The company analyses billions of credit card transactions to generate actionable insights that investors can use to understand consumer behaviour, market inflections and fast growing companies.
The intelligence?provided by the company allow investors to gain insight of both private and public firms and compare them with rivals.
The California company previously took on an undisclosed venture funding round.
