Personal finance management app Money Dashboard has closed its crowdfund on just over £1.3m from 1707 investors.

The round, which was raised on the Crowdcube platform, beat its initial target of £1m. Last week FinTech Global reported the company had just surpassed its £1m funding round, with contributions from 1356 backers, at the time.

Money Dashboard offers users one place to manage their online financial accounts, with daily updates on transactions and balances. The app has bank-level security and gives an easy way to check what a user is spending money on with categories for transactions.

The company’s pre-money valuation was £12.6m, according to its Crowdcube funding pitch.

With this latest investment, total capital raised by Money Dashboard has reached around £6.8m, with the company’s Series A receiving $3.7m last year.
