Gabi said to bag $2.6m in seed funding

Gabi has reportedly bagged $2.6m in a seed funding round from SV Angel and Project A, and A.Capital.

California-based Gabi helps customers to compare car insurance policies to help them find the best rates. The offering, which is free to use, uses smart algorithms and aims to save consumers time when comparing insurance products.

The funding will be used to expand the product into other markets, according to an article by TechCrunch.

The platform has an average saving for customers of $460 and has so far compared over 164,000 products, saving more than $41m, according to the company.
