Price comparison platform ComparaOnline has reportedly picked up a $14m in a new funding round.
The new investment was led by Bamboo Capital Partners and International Finance Corp, according to an article by TechCrunch.
Chile-based ComparaOnline is a free-to-use online platform for financial and insurance price comparison, with offerings for Brazil, Chile and Columbia. The service, which is available on computers and mobiles, gives users one place to find all offers with the company technology helping to compare custom insurance and credit products.
Founded in 2009, the company offers comparisons for auto, travel and health insurances, individual, family and business health plans, various types of credit cards, real estate agencies and automotive consortium.
The company last raised funding in 2013 with an $11m Series B round, which saw commitments from Ribbit Capital, Endeavor Catalyst, Rise Capital and Kaszek Ventures. This capital was used to boost its presence in Brazil and Colombia through acquisitions and product development. Total funding, including this latest financing, has reached $30m.
