Investment management platform Dynamo Software has closed an undisclosed majority investment from Francisco Partners.

Dynamo is a configurable and modular solution for alternative asset managers to help manage investment processes. Through the cloud-based platform users are able to help optimise the collaboration with international clients and increase productivity of general and limited partnerships.

The platform, which can be deployed across various sites and geographies, is an end-to-end solution helping to automate workflows, enhance decision making, and manage heightened regulatory requirements.

This new round of funding will be used to support Dynamo’s growth and product innovation.

Francisco Partners partner Peter Christodoulo said, “Dynamo serves a blue-chip list of over 400 customers who derive tremendous value from the software every day. With its cloud-based solution, the Company is primed to become a leader in the alternative asset management software market.”

Following the investment, the company’s management and employees will retain a significant stake in the shares. Weil, Gotshal & Manges advised Francisco Partners on the deal and debt financing for the investment has supplied by Madison Capital.

Earlier this year, Francisco Partners acquired a majority share into payment solution platform NMI, and also led the new equity funding of B2B payments company Vantiv
