Investment risk management company Institutional Cash Distributors has secured an investment from Parthenon Capital Partners.

US-based ICD is a SaaS institutional trading and investment risk management platform that offers clients exposure analytics and end-to-end solutions. The platform also offers a variety of products including money market funds, short duration bonds, FDIC-insured brokered bonds, among others.

The platform has three risk management tools, a transparency application, compliance management and autopay to authorise trade execution and settlement in one action.

Through the new partnership the company will be able to leverage Partenon’s resources to invest in its technology, products, and staff, as well as helping with integration in new markets, including additional currency products. ICD is looking to expand its Colorado operations by adding more products and release updates quicker.

Parthenon managing partner Andrew Dodson said, of “In speaking with ICD’s clients as part of our diligence, each expressed a level of praise for the Company’s technology and service that I’ve rarely heard, which speaks to ICD’s client-centric operating philosophy.”

Earlier this year Parthenon Capital and M2 completed a strategic partnership with Matrix Financial Solutions to launch a wealth management platform.

US-based institutional investing and trading companies have seen a decline in the share deals since 2014, with it dropping from 65 per cent to just 47 per cent of the market.
