Blockchain-based AI marketplace ATN and Atmatrix has closed a $10m strategic investment.

Investors to the round included Dream Chaser Capital, Capital Dynamics Fund, Longqing Capital and Drop Capita.

ATN.io is a blockchain-based artificial intelligence API marketplace that helps connect developers, technology suppliers and buyers. Through the solution, users can help to create and develop AI solutions for a range of industries such as finance, logistics, supply chain, social, gaming, charity, digital assets and stocks, among others.

The platform, which is powered by smart contracts, uses encryption and token technology to protect AI algorithms to ensure solutions can be adopted easily but a user’s product is protected.

Capital from the round will be used to improve the platform’s reputation and its servers, according to the company.

ATN tokens will be used on the platform as payment to use services, and the public distribution is set for later in the quarter.

The company is currently trying to formalise its reputation system and improve the governance system, according to its roadmap.

Last week, blockchain-based data exchange platform Datawallet closed its ICO on $40m. The company allows consumers to control and monetise their data by sharing information with businesses in exchange for tokens which can be redeemed for rewards.

Blockchain-powered payments and settlements company SETL also bagged funding last week. Crédit Agricole CIB made an undisclosed investment into the company which develops multi-asset and multi-currency payment processing infrastructure.
