Insurance broker Marsh has launched Bluestream, its new cloud-based digital broking solution.
Bluestream will give March’s affinity clients with a streamlined way to provide insurance products and services to their customers, contractors, and employees. The company is currently accepting beta clients and launch the service to a wider client base next year.
Its new digital service integrates with clients’ existing digital channels and user experience, and will also be able to integrate with the global insurance space via APIs. By doing this, clients will be able to choose and scale the exact insurance program which best suits the needs of their customers, contractors, or employees, across different locations, while maintaining a consistent global customer experience.
Alongside this, Bluestream delivers advanced reporting and analytics on insurance programs for clients, and helps them access machine learning and blockchain technology.
Some of the aspects to set Bluestream apart from others is its embedded user interface and APIs which seamlessly join with a client’s user experience, the company claims.
Marsh president global risk & digital John Drzik said, “Bluestream is an innovative, scalable platform that can provide our affinity clients with new insurance solutions. While the platform can serve our clients in all industries, it’s particularly relevant for global clients in digitally advanced sectors as well as digital native organizations like sharing economy companies.”
Earlier in the year, Marsh partnered with AI-powered insurance software platform Concirrus, to support its marine insurance products.
