Humania launches new InsurTech startup

Mutual insurance company Humania Assurance has launched a new internal InsurTech startup, Lead2action.ca.

The new company, which is fully owned by Humania and is registered at the Autorité des marchés financiers, began operations in October.

Canada-based Lead2action has a goal of boosting customer loyalty by empowering any organisation or structure partner to promote any one or more insurance product to specific audiences. This can be completed online and automatically, and without the need of heavy distribution costs.

Its technology targets process and personalised communication. The platform initially identifies the best target market for products and then builds an automated digital marketing campaign. There is real-time communication via a call centre and clients can also access information, compare policies and buy products through the new digital solution.

Humania Assurance President and CEO Stéphane Rochon said, “Lead2action will not be dedicated to just one company. We can offer access to a wide range of products and to most insurance companies in Canada. Our goal is to create Win-Win partnerships for all stakeholders.”

“Lead2action promotes a product in an intelligent way besides providing an access to dedicated financial security advisors and financial planners. We offer a global customer experience.”

Last week, Humania launched a new portfolio of online health insurance policies which are targeted to Canadians aged between 55 and 75 years old. The insurer is hoping these new products will help people in this age range to reduce financial stress and help them find better coverage.
