Braintri, a developer of financial products, has extended its reach in the InsurTech space through a new deal with Benefia, a part of Vienna Insurance Group.
The company has developed hiPRO Connector, an insurance subscription platform, and will launch it via various sales channels of Benefia, including mobile. The solution has already been implemented for Allianz.
hiPRO Connector will enable customers to pay for car insurance in monthly instalments. The service was developed alongside fellow insurance and finance product developer hiPRO, and financing for customers will be supplied by Estonian Inbank and the Polish Alior Bank.
Benefia is an online insurance platform which enables consumers to purchase policies for travel, cars, and homes.
Braintri, co-founder and COO Wojciech Zatorski said, “We entered 2019 with the feeling we achieved most of our goals. Winning over new big brands proves that our efforts in providing the current customers with world-class IT services are noticed and appreciated.
“There are new goals ahead, including finalizing the company’s merger with iCompass, planned rebranding, and gaining a stronger foothold on international markets. This will surely be the busiest year in Braintri’s 6-year history.”
Last year, Braintri revealed a merger plan with fellow Polish FinTech company iCompass. The decision came to help both companies provide customers with payment and big data products tailor-made for open banking.
