Home insurance platform Homelyfe has launched a new partner platform which will enable third-party firms to use its insurance products.
This new service will allow third-parties to implement the Homelyfe technology and insurance buy flow within their own digital infrastructure and earn commission. Through this, it can provide its customers with home insurance within four minutes, Homelyfe claims.
Homelyfe currently offers home insurance but is looking to release new insurance lines in the future – a travel protection policy is currently in development. Once it launched into new segments, Homelyfe will also offer these via its third-party platform.
An example given by the InsurTech is a banking app which would enable users to also buy home protection without having to switch apps or answer extra questions.
For clients, there is an automated commission monitor which is sent daily and provides analysis and removing reconcile needs.
London-based Homelyfe is a digital insurance provider which enables consumers to protect their homes, manage policies and make claims through a single app.
Andrew Craven, co-founder, and chief technology officer said: “With our partner platform we enable third parties to integrate an insurance offering into their own apps and websites, alongside their own products, using Homelyfe’s state of the art technology.
“It’s a game changer for the insurance industry, providing a much-needed modernisation of an antiquated process, and is the first step towards a seamless insurance-as-a-service platform for partners and brands.”
Homelyfe raised a $2.4m seed funding round led by Talis Capital and Peterson Ventures, in 2017.
