Komprise pulls in $24m in Series C led by Top Tier

Intelligent data management platform Komprise has pulled in $24m in its Series C round of funding.

The capital injection was led by Top Tier Ventures, with participation also coming from previous backers Canaan Partners and Walden International. Western Digital Capital also joined the round, making its first strategic investment into the company.

With is funding, the company has raised a total of $42m in capital since it was founded.

Following the round close, Komprise will look to boost its global sales, marketing efforts, product development and customer support.

Komprise provides businesses with a suite of data management tools to help the financial services, education, healthcare, and public sector industries, among others. Its technology helps to manage the entire data lifecycle with data analytics, replication, archive and effortless migration.

The company witnessed strong growth in 2018, with a solid revenue growth of over 200 per cent quarter-over-quarter. It also saw its customers increase their usage of the platform for data management needs by 600 per cent, it claims.

Last year, the company expanded its international operations, moving into the UK, Ireland, Switzerland, Germany, Spain and the Netherlands, markets. It also launched three new products: Ongoing Lifecycle Management, Data Access Anywhere, and NAS Migration.
