Bishop Fox, an online security platform, has raised $25m in its Series A round from ForgePoint Capital.
Proceeds from the round will be used to improve its research capabilities and develop new offensive security technology. In addition to this, the company is looking to hire security researchers and testers and will expand the technical abilities of its team.
To support this focus on research, the company co-founder Francis Brown has become the new chief research officer where he will lead the company’s innovation.
US-based Bishop Fox completes penetration tests and security assessments to help companies safeguard their operations and networks.
Its protection services cover applications, networks, infrastructure, architecture, and cloud systems. The company also provides penetration testing, risk assessments and third-party assessments for integrated services.
