The CareVoice, a Shanghai-based health InsurTech startup, has formalised a distribution partnership with Ping An Technology.
As part of the deal, Ping An will distribute the CareVoice SaaS platform across China to banks and insurance companies. PingAn is Chinese insurance giant and will deploy the solution in key cities on mainland China and Hong Kong, as well as combine it with its own in-house technologies.
The CareVoice is a mobile-based healthcare and insurance platform which provides consumers with tools for booking checkups, interacting with pharmacies, paying healthcare bills and monitoring general health and fitness.
Its SaaS platform enables customised digital experiences and services for each insurance plan and group client. By leveraging data and customer centricity, the company has helped insurers to design brand new products, targeting undeserved customer segments.
CareVoice co-founder Jan Velich said, “We are very proud of this agreement and eager to see the cooperation grows. Indeed, not only it is an additional distribution channel for our solution, but we also see it as a solid evidence that our health InsurTech platform and services managed to seduce China tech giants.”
At the end of last year, The CareVoice launched its health benefit and insurance product for startups in China. StartupCareTM combines premium medical insurance with a digitalised health and insurance solution to offer rewards for active teams.
Last month, it was reported Ping An was eying the IPO of its OneConnect solution at a potential valuation of $8bn. The subsidiary is a SaaS provider of financial technology solutions for mall and medium-sized financial institutions, with tools for AI, blockchain, cloud, and biometrics.
