Docupace and Workplace by OS33 have established a strategic partnership to combine their solutions and offer insurance firms greater cybersecurity and compliance utensils.
Customers of Docupace will now be able to purchase the endpoint device compliance solution Workplace Frontline and the digital platform for compliance and cybersecurity Workplace Stronghold directly through Docupace. These tools are aimed at helping businesses meet FINRA’s 2018 guidance.
On the reverse, Workplace customers will be able to buy the Docupace’s SEC and FINRA compliant workflow solutions in combination with its document management, client onboarding and advisor transitions solutions.
OS33 president Morley Ivers said, “Workplace Frontline is a cornerstone of our cybersecurity and compliance offering for broker-dealers and insurance companies that leverage independent reps. With Frontline every device that attempts to access a firm’s private data will be inventoried and secured before access is granted.
“Additionally, Workplace Stronghold is a turnkey digital workplace that establishes a secure perimeter abound a firm’s business applications, files and devices. We are extremely excited to be Docupace’s cybersecurity offering and to be representing Docupace’s Platform.”
The partnership has come in reaction to the rising level of data breaches and cyberattacks, as well as tightening cybersecurity regulations from FINRA and NYDFS.
Workplace is a SaaS platform which provides compliance, security and productivity tools to broker dealers, insurance companies and RIAs. The New York-based company has an automated data and device protection solution which helps authenticate and secure all interactions.
Docupace CEO Mark Tapling said, “Broker-dealers and large RIAs face the challenge of securing digital processing and the advisors’ endpoint devices. They are responsible for the security of the entry points and workflow, but often do not own or control the devices.
“Working with OS33, not only can we offer the best-in-class endpoint device protection with Frontline, but also a completely secure digital work environment. Together, this partnership offers the industry’s most secure and complete digital operations platform from desktop through clearing and storage.”
Docupace, headquartered in Los Angeles, is a data-driven digital operations platform aimed at the wealth management space, including broker-dealers, RIAs and insurance organisations. Its toolset offers client and advisor onboarding, document management, alternative investment processing, and advisor transitions.
The company also delivers a range of cybersecurity tools to help assess a firm’s vulnerabilities, identifying potential gaps, provide ongoing monitoring and helping SEC and FINRA compliance.
