Cryptocurrency digital wallet PayRue is looking to raise £100,000 in a crowdfunding campaign on Seedrs.
The company has already surpassed the halfway mark, having raised £50,314 at the time of writing. A total of 33 investors have contributed to the company, which is raising the funds at a pre-money valuation of £5m.
Through this sale, a total of 1.96 per cent of equity is being offered for the full £100,000 sum. It is unclear whether the funding goal is a hardcap or the company will choose to continue raising money until the campaign closes.
PayRue is a London-based cryptocurrency wallet and exchange service, offering users tools to exchange, hold and transfer cryptocurrency in a secure manner. Its services are currently available on iOS and Android, as well as a web-based application.
In the future, the company hopes to offer new services including fiat to crypto, debit cards and insurance policies.
