Tally to improve onboarding through TruNarrative partnership

Tally, a banking app which offers an alternative physical asset currency, has selected TruNarrative’s unified platform for real-time customer onboarding.

This will enable the app to conduct know your customer (KYC), politically exposed persons (PEPs) and sanctions checks, plus document verification. These will integrate directly to Tally’s smartphone app through the TruNarrative API.

Furthermore, the onboarding process can be adapted to meet future compliance and industry requirements. TruNarrative’s services are based on a no-code interface which lets Tally make tweaks to the onboarding strategy without the need of extensive IT resources.

Tally is a digital banking app which lets users spend money which is based on the value of gold. There is also a debit Mastercard available for consumers. Being backed by gold, it ensures a consumer’s savings hold their value and do not fluctuate over time and market states.

Tally CEO Cameron Parry said, “As a fast-growing, innovative company, we wanted to be able to scale fast, and offer our customers a high-speed low-friction onboarding experience.

“At the same time, compliance and security are critical factors to our success – we strive for best-in-class standards. The partnership with TruNarrative provides us with a no-compromise solution that fulfils all of our criteria for onboarding customers.”

Earlier in the year, TruNarrative formed a new partnership with digital identity platform Jumio. Through the deal, TruNarrative clients can access the Jumio ID verification services directly, integrating it to simplify their KYC compliance and financial crime detection.
