SnapPay introduces Alipay and WeChat Pay to Canadian and US business owners

Toronto-founded SnapPay, the provider of international payment solutions, is now offering small and independent businesses the opportunity to implement the Chinese payment applications Alipay and WeChat Pay.

SnapPay suggests that small US and Canadian companies leveraging these solutions can enable them to tap into a huge customer base of students, immigrants and tourists from China.

Using SnapPay’s platform means consumers can digitally pay in Chinese currency and merchants to receive Canadian or US cash. It also lowers the transaction fee for both parties.

“By offering Alipay and WeChat Pay, Canadian and US small and large businesses are enhancing the shopping, dining and entertainment experience, while saving money for millions of Chinese shoppers, visitors and students,” said Spencer Xu, CEO of SnapPay. “Merchants typically see a marked increase in revenue from their Chinese customer segment after deploying SnapPay and our related promotional programs.”
