Cryptocurrency exchange HOLD is out of beta and has now launched its mobile app on iOS and Android across 36 countries in Europe.
The app will initially support bitcoin, ethereum and Litecoin, meaning they can be accessed, sold and exchanged for cash or cryptocurrencies through the HOLD app.
At the same time, HOLD has launched a free debit card available across the European Economic Area, apart from Ireland, Austria and Spain. HOLD created the credit card together with Contis, the banking and payments company.
In a statement about the release, HOLD stated that the app had been made to be a safe way to store customers’ cryptocurrencies.
Guilherme Almeida, CTO at HOLD, said, “HOLD is backed by an incredibly strong team and after months of hard work, we are very excited about our public launch. We are aiming high to provide our customers with the best app experience in the market allowing them to buy, sell and exchange crypto and spend cash using their HOLD debit card whenever and wherever they want. We like to call it their ‘all-in-one exchange in their pocket.'”
