EverQuote, an online marketplace for insurance, has partnered with InsurTech 100 company Bold Penguin to support its commercial lines launch.
Bold Penguin offers a commercial insurance exchange which connects businesses, agents and carriers to accelerate the time to quotes.
Through the deal, EverQuote will leverage Bold Penguin’s terminal and exchange infrastructure to accelerate its path to market while growing the market opportunity for online commercial insurance shoppers and providers.
The partnership will benefit from a shared vision of making insurance simpler and more efficient. It will also take advantage of unique assets and areas of expertise for the pair.

EverQuote is an online insurance marketplace in the US which leverages data and technology to match and connect consumers looking to buy insurance.
Bold Penguin was recently listed in the second annual InsurTech 100, which was compiled by FinTech Global.
