Consolidated Bank Ghana taps Temenos for its banking core system

Founded in 2018, Consolidated Bank Ghana is the consolidation of five different banks. It is now live, having enlisted Temenos, the bank and financial services software company, for help.

Consolidated Bank Ghana is using Temenos’ T24 Transact software to consolidate the assets from the five banks it is made from – Construction Bank, Beige Bank, Royal Bank, UniBank and Sovereign Bank.

Ghana owns the bank.

The bank is using Temenos’ software to bring together the five banks’ assets under one roof.

“Temenos’ rich banking functionality and advanced cloud and API-first technology made it the perfect partner for this ambitious and exciting consolidation project,” said Daniel Addo, CEO at Consolidated Bank Ghana.

“Already a trusted partner to each of the seven former banks, Temenos has the blueprint for advanced cloud-native, cloud-agnostic core architecture that will allow us to deliver digital banking services and promote financial inclusion, both now and in the future.”
