Having achieved a $2bn valuation through its Series E round earlier this year, Marqeta is signing off 2019 with a new partnership.
The company behind a card issuing platform has teamed up with Mambu, the cloud banking services provider.
The latter’s customers will now enjoy access to Marqeta’s card processing technology.
Mambu has recently found itself in the midst of some of the biggest banking success stories around the world, by offering its cloud banking platform to companies like Acesso, N26, OakNorth, Recognise and P.F.C.,
The platform has already enabled those companies the ability to easily tap into the services of a pre-selected range of best-for-purpose partners.
This is the services and solutions Marqeta can now enjoy too.
Ian Johnson, head of European growth at Marqeta has stated that the partnership is strengthened by the “strong alignment between our two organisations, not just in terms of our product vision but culturally too.”
