Samya.AI collects $6m in round led by Sequoia

Samya.AI, which helps companies improve revenue growth, has collected $6m in its seed round led by Sequoia India.

Other investors to the round include Helion VC founder Ashish Gupta, G100 Companies partner Deb Henretta, Kradle Ventures founder Arijit Sengupta, former Antuit COO Deborah Kops and Marketsandmarkets founder Sandeep Sugla.

Samya helps businesses to increase revenue growth through AI and machine learning technology. Its technology can anticipate sales risks and opportunities, account for tactical promotion risks and opportunities and generate insights for operations.

Samya co-founder and chief customer officer Pavan Palety said, “In the initial phase we are being very selective about partnering with visionary customers as this needs close collaboration with multiple stakeholders. In the long term we want to build a large and diverse ecosystem of partners and advisors who can help us drive customer success globally.”

Last year, Sequoia India led the $25m in a funding round of InsurTech startup Turtlemint. The company uses algorithms and data analytics to recommend insurance products including car, bike, health and life policies.
