CPP Group has partnered with insurance broker Arthur J Gallagher & Co to release a new cyber insurance product for small businesses.
This partnership will see CPP increase its presence in the UK market and provide Gallagher the opportunity to expand its suite of insurance products to include cybersecurity solutions.
Its new cyber insurance policy is aimed at meeting the needs of small businesses and will be available as an add-on.
The deal comes just months after CPP released an SME-specific cyber policy on the Acturis platform. Acturis is a SaaS provider for the insurance space, providing firms with a portfolio of insurance tools and products.
CPP CEO Jason Walsh said, “Gallagher is one of the biggest and best-known brokers both nationally and internationally, so it’s a fantastic result to bring them on board as a partner. It gives us a strong footprint in the UK broker market, which we will continue to build upon.
“It also demonstrates the scale of the commercial opportunity provided by our product launch on Acturis, which has opened us up to a large network of brokers. We anticipate that this will be the first of many such partnerships.”
