Setoo, an online insurance and protection service, is supplying ski holiday insurance solutions in partnership with travel agency Issta.
Its Ski Protection Guarentee is will be offered to Israeli consumers on the Issta website when they are booking a ski holiday at least a month before they go. Policyholders will be alerted three days before departure if bad ski conditions are putting their vacation at risk, from which, the holder can choose whether to cancel their vacation and receive a full refund or continue with the holiday. Bad ski conditions are defined by how many ski lifts open.
Setoo offers a fully automated protection and insurance platform which enables businesses to build unlimited protection products in real-time. The platform leverages AI, machine learning and automatic actuarial algorithms to support personalization, real-time pricing and claim-free refunds.
