Challenger bank Kuda Bank aims to change the banking system in emerging markets and won’t let the coronavirus stand in its way.
Underlining this ambition, the company has unveiled a smattering of updated features to its app.
“In these uncertain and frightening times, giving up seems like the easiest thing to do,” the company said in blog post. “But if you have even the tiniest bit of hope that we’ll get through this, you’re not alone. We’re all in this together. We intend to keep running like it’s a normal world, and that means we’ll keep improving your Kuda experience with regular updates, and there’s a big one on the way.”
Among the new features, Kuda unveiled a faster loading experience, a new Private Mode where users can decide what financial information they would like to share, a bill-paying feature, new card management options and making it easier to upgrade accounts.
Kuda raised $1.6m in pre-seed capital in September 2019.
