Spaced Ventures has reportedly raised $150,000 in a pre-seed round

Public investment platform for the space industry Spaced Ventures is said to have picked up a pre-seed round.

According to Crunchbase, the startup, launched in March 2020, has picked up $150,000 in a new raise. However, there were not many more details about the round or who the investors were reported.

“Space is for more than governments and billionaires,” Spaced Ventures said on its website. “The future of humanity is in the stars. But we must innovate faster to make it happen in our lifetime. 50 years ago all space decisions were made by bureaucrats. In the last 20 years, that honour has been given to billionaires. The commercial space age is upon us. Now it’s time for everyday citizens to shape the future.”

The company is based in New York, Toronto and Florida. On its website it says that it will launch soon.
