InsurTech Pivot Health teams up with Quotit Corporation

Technology-powered health insurance solution Pivot Health has teamed up with software developer Quotit Corporation to improve agents offerings for customers.

Pivot Health, which is a division of HealthCare.com, offers short-term health insurance plans and lower-deductible temporary  health plans. These have now been made available on the Quotit Corporation platform, and its user base of around 16,000 insurance agents.

The InsurTech was founded in 2016 and has grown its product suite to include short-term health insurance products, fixed indemnity, accident and illness supplemental plans, Bridge to Medicare™ for early retirees, Medicare supplement, plus add-on dental and vision insurance.

HealthCare.com head of the coverage division Jeff Smedsrud said, “We are excited to offer our plans through Quotit. They have a proven track record of enabling licensed agents to help their customers shop, compare and enrol in health insurance plans.

“Our goal is to help insurance consumers enrol in the plans they want, on the platform they want, in the easiest and best way possible.”

Quotit develops insurance technology for brokers, agencies and carriers within the health insurance space. The software enables clients to streamline the quoting and enrolling of insurance plans across the US.

The InsurTech claims to have transacted $3.4bn in health insurance premiums.
