Cherre teams up with RedZone to improve data access around natural disasters

Real estate data and analytics company Cherre has formed a partnership with smart natural disaster intelligence company RedZone.

This partnership will enable mutual customers to easily incorporate the RedZone natural disaster data with their existing real estate data. This will empower better strategic risk analysis and planning.

As part of the deal, RedZone will join Cherre’s Data Partner Network.

The RedZone platform enables underwriters and claims teams to make informed decisions regarding wildfires or other natural disasters. The solution can integrate with existing technology to offer concentration management, risk-analysis, and real-time alerts that facilitate response planning, improve public relations, mitigate risk and reduce loss.

Cherre CEO and co-founder L.D. Salmanson said, “P&C insurance companies and underwriters need comprehensive data for risk modeling and analysis.

“By partnering with RedZone, we’re enabling our mutual customers to seamlessly incorporate wildfire modeling into other key real estate datasets for better risk analysis and more strategic decision making.”

The Cherre platform connects disparate real estate data into a single location to help companies automate workflows, and build models and visualisations.

RedZone founder and CEO Clark Woodward said, “One of RedZone’s biggest challenges is working with customers to build the integrations and pipelines. It’s not uncommon for the IT effort to be greater than the cost of the service itself.

“By partnering with Cherre, we will be able to integrate our risk modelling into Cherre’s data connection platform, saving end users money and increasing the speed in which integrations can be accomplished. We are extremely excited to be working with such an innovative partner.”
