DeepSurface Security has closed its seed round on $1m to help it launch the industry’s first automated predictive vulnerability management tool suite.
The investment was led by Cascade Seed Fund, with additional commitments coming from SeaChange Fund and Voyager Capital.
Funds from the round will enable the company to launch their product in Q4 and expand its team.
The RegTech platform enabled cybersecurity teams to automate the manual process of analysing and prioritising vulnerabilities on enterprise networks. Its predictive vulnerability management services automate the discovery, prioritisation and research for remediation of vulnerabilities to access real risk reduction on their networks.
DeepSurface has been in beta mode for the past year, operating in the healthcare, SaaS and financial services spaces.
Cascade Seed Fund managing director Robert Pease said, “Despite the large investments many companies are making in risk management solutions, choosing which vulnerabilities to address first remains a stubbornly manual and imprecise process.
“As more and more companies look to improve their risk reduction systems, automation is a natural next step. We found that DeepSurface has built a compelling solution for predictive vulnerability management and are excited to see where this investment takes them.”
