Switzerland-based dacadoo, which is a digital transformation company for the healthcare space, has celebrated its tenth anniversary.
The company was founded in 2010 and offers technology for digital health engagement and health risk qualification. Its Digital Health Engagement Platform helps users live healthier and more active lives by leveraging behavioural science, gamification and social networking, as well as AI and automate coaching.
Its platform also offers the Risk Engine for insurers, which calculates relative risks on various mortalities and morbidities in real-time.
dacadoo president and CEO Peter Ohnemus said, “Today is a historical day for me. As dacadoo turns ten years old, I’m able to look back at all that we have achieved during this time with great pride and awe.

Earlier in the year, the company was named “Innovator of the Year” and “Data for Good” by MongoDB.
dacadoo has formed a number of partnerships during the year. It recently formed a partnership with SOMPO Himawari Life Insurance to help it launch its health app Linkx score.
It has also formed deals with Manulife to strengthen its digital offerings in Asia, and Brazilian insurer Seguros Unimed to provide digital health and wellness services to its 18 million beneficiaries and 120’000 physicians across the country.
