American insurance company Pacific Life has teamed up with InsurTech100 company Life.io to offer an end-to-end customer origination, engagement and service experience.
The insurer selected Life.io because of the strength of the solution and its capability of integrating multiple third-party solutions, it said.
By implementing Life.io’s various solutions, Pacific Life will be able to provide its distribution partners with a personalised and data-rich experience.
Pacific Life assistant vice president of innovations Joseph Kordovi said, “Life.io’s intuitive and user-centric origination and engagement capabilities are a great complement to our focus on meeting the changing expectations of digital-savvy customers and advisors.”
Life.io, which is a subsidiary of SE2, is helping insurers transform to a digital operating model.
Its Life.ioGrow solution enables partners to run a quote and need analysis and view prospect and policy owner data in real-time. Its Life.ioEmpower solution offers policyholders a self-service portal to view and service this policy.
Finally, the Life.ioInsights solution gives carriers access to robust data and analytics dashboard to identify trends, best practices and optimise conversion.
Life.io co-founder and CEO Jon Cooper said, “We are delighted to partner with Pacific Life on this exciting initiative. I love how they’re pushing the industry forward with personalized products designed for the real-life consumer.
“In partnership with Life.io, Pacific Life is empowering distribution partners with state-of-the-art technology and a great user experience.”
Cooper recently told FinTech Global that it is tough to show consumers the benefits of having life insurance, but insurers need to change their engagement strategies to encourage adoption. Read the full interview here.
