SOMPO Himawari Life Insurance has teamed up with digital health engagement company dacadoo to develop a new health app called Linkx score.
The new platform supports holistic health by suppling a comprehensive overview of the user’s body, mind and lifestyle. It features the dacadoo health score tool and supplies personalised digital coaching to motivate ad inspire users into living healthier.
Linkx score will be available exclusively to SOMPO Himawari policyholders and insured customers. The service goes live January 14.
Through the app, customers are encouraged to be healthy through personalised information to become aware of their overall health and changes they can make. It leverages measurement tools such as BMI and step counters.
Dacadoo, which is headquartered in Zurich, develops and operates a mobile-first digital health engagement platform that helps people live healthier and more active lives. It achieves this by using motivational techniques from behavioural science, gamification principals, social networking and AI-powered automated coaching.
The InsurTech released a new digital health engagement platform late last year, helping to meet changing demands of insurance customers. Its Wheel of Life solution helps insurers gets data insights on user preference, to improve engagement and lifestyle guidance for users.
Last year, the InsurTech celebrated its tenth anniversary.
