Puerto Rico-based Óptima Seguros has extended its deal with cloud insurance software developer Majesco.
The new deal will see the insurer, which has been a customer of Majesco since 2013, upgrade to the Majesco Policy for P&C and move from on-premise to Majesco CloudInsurer. It hopes this will bolster its growth strategy.
Óptima Seguros offers property and contingency insurance and has been leveraging Majesco Policy to offer commercial package and commercial auto insurance to its customers. Majesco Policy for P&C will bring advanced and innovative capabilities.

Majesco has had a very active start to 2021. The InsurTech recently signed a deal to deploy its Majesco P&C Core Suite into American European Insurance Group. This implementation will enable the regional property and casualty insurer to modernise its operations and support its growth strategy.
The company also recently released its new Bureau circular and rate adoption capability.
