Cloud insurance software developer Majesco has expanded its life and annuity (L&A) business with five new leadership hires.
These new hires will help Majesco bolster its expertise to support the growing adoption of L&A solutions.
Majesco claims the L&A needs to improve operationally and innovatively to create immediate business results and long-term value. The InsurTech believes insurers need to rethink their operating model to make products and processes more cost-effective.
Majesco CEO Adam Elster said, “The L&A and Group business is one of our strategic pillars and has experienced significant growth in the last year.
“To support our current, new and upcoming customers, we are strengthening and expanding our market and business-focused L&A and Group division to execute on Majesco’s vision, strategy, and plans, establishing Majesco as the leader in the L&A and Group market. We are excited about the new talent joining Majesco and energized about the opportunities ahead for our customer and business.”
The hires include L&A and Group products SVP and GM Raymond Law. Law has three decades of experience in roles within tier one insurers, including MetLife, AIG, Travelers and Prudential.
Jennifer Messersmith has joined Majesco as SVP global leader of L&A and Group delivery. Messersmith will lead the global L&A Group delivery teams.
Another of the hires is Naveen Wadhwa, who has more than twenty years of IT experience at RIA Advisory, United Health Group, Capgemini and Ernst & Young. Wadhwa will focus on maturing both the P&C and L&A and Group Delivery organisation, managing SAFe Agile 5.0 initiatives, automation initiatives, SI enablement, and maturing the implementation playbook across all Majesco products, including L&A and Group.
Tom Fisher has joined Majesco as VP of L&A and Group Delivery. Fisher has more than three decades of experience in insurance and financial services.
