Relay Platform, which helps brokers and underwriters place insurance and reinsurance quicker, has reportedly collected $5.2m in seed funding.
The capital injection was led by Drive Capital, with support also coming from Highline Beta, according to a report from Coverager.
Relay is a software-as-a-service platform which connects brokers with carriers and reinsurers to generate quotes and client proposals within minutes, it claims.
It claims to be the only solution that can capture all of a client’s quotes in a single place, whether that is from emails, portals, automated raters or other channels. Through this, it can instantly generate tailored proposals for clients, along with unique analytics on conversion rates.
With the close of the round, the company has raised a total of $5.2m in funding.
