HealthySure secures funding to provide health security to India

Mumbai-based InsurTech platform HealthySure, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding in a pre-Series A round from We Founder Circle (WFC) and others, a report by IndianWeb2 has revealed.

Founded by Anuj Parekh and Sanil Basutkar, HealthySure specifically targets SMEs to offer digitised policy and claim experience with curated health and wellness offerings.

The brand prides itself on having launched India’s first unified health insurance plan that allows employees to personalise their organisation health covers with continuity post-employment, which HealthySure explained eliminates the need of holding an independent personal health cover and saves up to 75% premiums.

Neeraj Tyagi, co-founder and CEO of We Founder Circle said, “In the current scenario, companies are putting efforts and investment for the wellbeing of their employees. With the dedicated approach of making insurance and healthcare affordable and accessible to the Indian workforce and their families, HealthySure addresses a big challenge being faced by corporates. The finer technology used by players like Healthysure, just makes it a more lucrative creation that is going to create a bigger difference in the overall growth of the nation.

Co-founder Parekh added that the funding will go toward investing in the team, technology and operations, as the company looks to “transform the lives of millions of Indian families with health security.”
