CLARA Analytics, which builds AI technology for commercial insurance, is to partner with insurance and investment platform Nationwide to provide AI technology for the insurance industry.
The partnership will see the companies provide AI technology for a new programme aimed at improving workers’ compensation claims operations using AI.
Nationwide will implement CLARA’s Triage and Treatment solutions, which use AI and advanced machine learning to provide claims management professionals with insights that help them resolve claims more effectively and efficiently.
CLARA helps claims managers reach resolution on workers’ compensation cases by validating low-risk claims early in the process and by distinguishing the higher-risk cases that may be causes for concern.
The company’s Triage helps claims managers monitor complex claims by ingesting new information as soon as it is available then presenting key insights that llow adjusters to better understand the unique risk factors for each claim. The CLARA Treatment uses AI and machine learning to help insurers identify the best healthcare providers quickly and easily for each claim.
