Startup accelerator Y Combinator has announced the 30 European startups to feature in its new demo day scheduled for later this month.
The demo day will also feature companies from other regions, including 78 startups from Asia and 19 from South America, according to a report from Sifted.
One of the European companies taking part in the demo day is Flagright. The German RegTech company provides technology to prevent, detect and manage suspicious activity in real-time, with no-code back office for AML and fraud use cases.
A CyberTech company also features on the day, Sarus. The France-based company provides organisations with the ability to beat competition at execution speed time. Its AI technology can give greater control over data, whilst ensuring protection and auditability.
Another France-based company in the cohort is Joe. The buy now, pay later platform enables people to access flexible financing with merchants across Europe.
The final FinTech company in the group is Pluto Markets. Based in Denmark, the company is making investing a social experience. Users can see what their friends are doing and interact with a community.
Other sectors represented in the new cohort include B2B, biotech, e-commerce, food, healthtech, HR tech, SaaS, sustainability and transportation.
